I live in Nevada, not far from Virginia City.

I left here as a child, but never forgot the mountains and the feel of the West. Finally, 50 years later, I came home.

Lots of the things I find for the store carry the spirit of the West. From the cowboy art to the rocks and minerals of the mountains this area is special. The store is named for the wind that blows through the valley from the West. It is still untamed and who knows what it might bring with it.

My store has a big variety of items, my interest is in unusual items, vintage things with a history, and beautiful, handcrafted pieces from far away places. Always looking for those special things, I find them in odd places.

Sometimes even the vast internet can't answer all the questions. A few years ago I bought a primitive carved wood figure that I still have not identified. Any ideas? Wood Lady
