About Westwind

I left Nevada when I was 9 (1955). More than 50 years later I returned to be closer to my family, and fell in love with the mounains and desert again.

As a child I used to pretend there were wild horses on the mountains - now I often see wild horses on those same mountains. The image on our opening page is from a photo of a wild stallion I took near my house. It looks like I am finally home.

In my store you will find lots of things from the Southwest and many animal themed items. We look for special things, from the past and from contemporary artists and far away places. A lot of the items are unique, one of a kind or custom made.
